Alaskan Huskies are leaner in built and very big in size. In comparison to Siberian huskies, they are much bigger in size. Other distinct feature in them is that they have brown pair of eyes whereas Serbian huskies have blue brown eyes. Alaskan huskies have greater built so they have greater endurance power. In Sled racing they are preferably used. They are quite playful and don't harm other. They are playful and most of the time they are engaged in themselves.

The strange fact about them is that they are very fond of their own family. They like to spent time with them and are very playful among them. Isn't it strange? They are also known for their tricky mind and are very docile. They are very playful and easy going. As a puppy, these breed of dogs don't have good energy. In order to train them one needs to be very patient and consistent as they learn very easily but to make them follow your orders is slightly tough task. If a person providing training to these dogs are not strict and of domineering nature, these dogs will turn out to be mischievous and very wilful. These dogs are good companion while jogging. You can take them with you for jogging. They are fond of roaming around and sometimes it becomes hard to tame them at home. They jump around here and there. Alaskan huskies are really wonderful dogs and are good companions. Life expectancy of these breed of dogs is 12-15 years. They need little bit of exercise to keep them warm up. They are really one of the amazing varieties of dogs in US.
